Atom Tree Specialists is owned and operated by Nick Chambers, qualified Arborist and Horticulturalist with over 20 years of experience working in New Zealand, Australia and Europe. Born and raised on Nelson, Nick has always had a passion for trees and with his team uses the latest tree surgery techniques and equipment to ensure your trees are cared for and maintained with minimal disruption to you, your trees and their surroundings.
We pride ourselves on our industry knowledge and experience, which is why our team of qualified arborists and consultancy staff are always on hand to offer educated advice and guidance. There are several reasons why stumps need to be removed. To create space for replanting, remove potential site for decay and fungus and to prevent regrowth.
We use a stump grinder to grind the stump into chippings which is the most efficient method of removing a stump. We grind tree stumps and roots well below ground level which prevents regrowth. The process is designed to create minimal ground disturbance and leaves the area ready for the next stage of garden design, replanting or construction.
